“Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.”–Hebrews 11:1
Faith is believing when you don’t see. When your hair has fallen out, continues to fall out, and in the middle of the turmoil that caused it to fall out, God speaks, “Your hair will grow back.”
“But how long, Lord? How long do I have to hide? How long do I have to suffer my pride? How long do I live in shame? How long will I point the finger in blame? How long, Lord?”
“Until you trust me. Until you believe that I am who I say I am and I will do what I say I will do. Until you stop trusting you and start trusting me. Until I can see you make progress.”
So the steps began. I didn’t see them at first. But the camera did. A chronicle of my life it created at His beckoning.
He preserved me. He preserved so I could pursue Him, persevere to Him, receive Him and what He had for me.
HAIR TIMELINE IN THREE PARTS (FROM TIP TO SCALP)
We think we’re okay. We are not okay. He makes us okay as we follow Him. In the storm, through the storm, out of the storm. As we hang on by a thread, long for the life that once was, He gives us something better, something stronger, restoring what the locusts and cankerworm have eaten, even giving double for our trouble, giving exceeding abundant blessings, from the inside out. He provides the resources–spiritual, emotional, social, relational, physical, nutritional, all things to work together for the good. He wanted that for me. I believe He wants that for you.
I’m here to help you, as the Lord leads, to guide you from the inside out.
With you on the journey,
